Welcome to Cazini. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our platform, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform.

Services

Cazini provides an AI-based document verification platform to verify credentials and professional documents. The specific services are described on our website and in our user documentation.

User Responsibilities

• Account Information: You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it updated.
• Compliance: You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using our platform.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

Prohibited Activities

• Use our platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload false or misleading information.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform’s functionality.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our platform.
• Ask, charge or accept money or anything of value from a candidate or employee in connection with a job (see Ethical Hiring below).

Ethical Hiring: No Fees From Candidates or Employees

Cazini practises ethical hiring. Getting a job through Cazini is always free for candidates. Employers, recruiters and anyone acting for them must never ask, charge or accept money - or anything else of value - from a candidate or employee to apply, be interviewed, be hired, keep a job, or receive pay, leave or a payslip.

An employer or recruiter who breaks this rule will be suspended from the platform while we review the report, and permanently removed if it is confirmed. We may refer the matter to the relevant authorities. The full rules are in our Ethical Hiring Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Candidates and employees who are asked to pay should not pay, and should report it straight away to info@cazini.co.ke.

Intellectual Property

All content and materials on our platform, including trademarks, logos, and service marks, are the property of Cazini or its licensors. You may not use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cazini will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of our platform.
• Your inability to access or use our platform.
• Any unauthorized access or use of our servers.
• Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted to or through our platform.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cazini and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of our platform or your violation of these terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to our platform at any time, for any reason, including if you violate these terms. Asking candidates or employees for money leads to suspension, as set out in the Ethical Hiring section above.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on our website.
